Welcome to Awakenings

Life IS history in the making. Every word we say, everything we do becomes history the moment it is said or done. Life void of memories leaves nothing but emptiness. For those who might consider history boring, think again: It is who we are, what we do and why we are here. We are certainly individuals in our thoughts and deeds but we all germinated from seeds planted long, long ago.

The Ultimate Card

Pure love goes deep with the three little words "I love you" often seeming to not be quite enough. There is more you want to say. For some, even expressing those words does not come easily. More than likely you have been in a situation where it was oh-so difficult to put into words what you truly wished to express. The words lay stuck in your throat, dormant in your heart. It may even have been nervousness fearing the intent might be misunderstood or perhaps as simple as just not knowing what to say or how to say it at the time.
Ah-h-h-h! With February being the month of love, the light bulb comes on and first thought has you seeking those sweet, adorable love messages shared on Valentine's Day, some of which have been around for eons. But, of course, occasions of love expressions are not limited just to the month of February and its celebration of Valentine's Day. Sometimes it is simply a matter of seeking words someone else has written that might express exactly what you need or want to say—the perfect greeting card or e-card

Think about those other occasions that warrant recognition any day of the year. For whatever the occasion, the search is on in store or online! Rack after rack of card after card in category after category line the shelves of store after store. Online results in millions upon millions of possible hits. Site after site offers e-this and e-that while your fingers begin to ache from all the 'walking' and your head spins frantically from endless searching!

Before going any further, what about the person - male, female, spouse, lover, close friend, casual acquaintance, son, daughter, mother, father, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent? Whew! The list goes on and on... Oh, dear, to add to the dilemma, what IS the occasion for the card? Is it someone’s anniversary, an unexpected visit to the hospital, a birthday, a thank you, a gesture of love, congratulations? Enough! I’m exhausted just thinking about it!

Maybe a score card would be helpful, like The Every Occasion Card. Oh, my! With over 4000 possible combinations, I don't think I even want to go there. That's almost as bad as the in store or online possibilities. Let’s see what you think of my idea for The Ultimate Card.
